I self destructed(twice) and got the "you died" message, but am unable to creat a new acct, perhaps, my old one isn't comletely deleted, if that is the case, please do so. Or do I have to wait until the next round,or Reset?

Dead players are purged every three days. In the mean time you might try out one of the other servers. Just click on the servers link from the login page.
