Beam weapon levels do not play a role in the "attack&run" option. Although i think that if your not able to take out as many fighters as your ships fighterbay can carry then it could be because your torp level is too low compared to that of the highest level planet in the sector.

Well let me explain the concept of atack and run:

It is exactly what it says, you sneak into the sector, drop your fighters off and runaway and hope you don't get hit.

Nothing else comes into play, you can attack and run aprox down to double the fighters you carry. However there is a problem with the cureent beta code and that is not the case... will take a reset to fix.

well, I don't know about the .30 code, but in .21 I am able to A&R down to ~150% of what I can carry, not 2x (200%). dunno if thats normal, but haven't been having problems on the .21 servers with the A&R amounts.

and yes, A&R'ing on the beta code will not work, so don't try it, hehe...
