In the beta game, I can log in, and it shows my ship was destroyed, and I am pretty sure I had an escape pod. It says I can start again in my new ship. When I go to Main, I get this
Fatal error: Call to a member function RecordCount() on a non-object in /home/aatrader/public_html/beta/globals/base_template_data.inc on line 36

Also I no longer show up in the rankings.

You're not actually dead, its a wierd bug we have had happen 2 other times. we are tring to track down. Course if the game resets tomorrow like planned it wont make much of a difference but we wanna find this bug for sure asap!

I think I have tracked down the bug.

The function that captures ships when a planet is captures is being executed before the manned ships landed routines. This apparently causing the ships to be deleted.

I have moved the resolution for ships landed on a captured planet to the front and this should solve the problem.

but the real question is, can he login now? hehe...

For some reason I can log in still. I just can't get to main, or move.

You won't. I am not going to restore anyone in the beta game since it is resetting today.

Wasn't worried about being restored. I also know this is a bug because of a bug. Just thought you might want to fix it if it were easy. That is, I wasn't actually purged since I can still log in and own planets. Not that I want me put back in.

Yeah hopefully its whooped, we have another related bug that we hope will be fixed on the reset as well. The player cloaking device just worked too well j/k
