If the planet was never owned by another player it does not count as a capture. It has to have been owned by someone previously for it to count as a captured planet.

The same thing is true if you capture a planet that is or was owned by a teammate.

well, thats interesting, hehe...

so...I can have 0 captures and 0 built and still have 100+ planets...interesting...

You might want to look at the stats in the rankings and on people profiles. There is more information there. You won't be able to have 100 planets without people knowing about them.

But as soon as you plop a BASE on your "cloak" planet it will show up under the BASED stat column. So others can figure it out. :cool:
