Im doing a install of AA 0.30.3 and I got a question for you. What Exactly is the Difference between the Default and Old Style setup files. Thanks

Default uses the new tech level system where tech levels go from 0-600. The old style uses the 0.21 tech levels that go from 0-54.

Ok, I hear what your saying but what does the different numbering system actually Mean. You guys got any documents on exactly what has changed between 0.21 and 0.30.3 or can you give me a quick rundown on what has changed so I can make a better decision about upgrading or not.

Man, there are way too many changes to easily list them right now. :) I guess we really should sit down and detail the changes.

For one thing with the tech level number going from 0-600 it costs a lot less to upgrade. You can kinf of think of the level 101 is similar to being able to have 10.1 under the 0.21 tech level system. It allow players to spend less money as they get higher in tech by breaking it down more.
