I used a SG Device to create a new sector
Then went to that NEW sector and created a link to a real sector that I wanted to trade with (one I control), did my trades then tried to delete the link
It tells me I am unable to delete
"Using a Warp Editor in this sector is not permitted"
The sector belongs to me, no enemies in the area, I own all planets. My rules for the territory allow me to use Warp Editors.

So why can I not delete the warp link?

You can't delete warp links in SG sectors. If you could, you could litterally cut yourself off from the rest of the universe, which would be very cool, but unfair, because they no one could attack you.

SGs are what we call Hard Link sectors. Once a link is created, it is unbreakable. This is primarily designed so you can create choke points. If someone wants to attack a planet you have in an SG tunnel, they have to go through all the sectors from the front to the back to get to it. As long as there is the max SG links in each sector, no one can link to it from the outside world.
