The idea of "Berserker" Mode is that production is increased massively for a short period of time. In this ideal, Berserker Mode can be used once every say two weeks, and what it allows the user to do, is for 24 hours, they can initiate a Berserker Mode, by doing this, planetary production is increased to 150% or even 200%. However, there are a few disadvantages to using Berserker Mode to discourage abuse.

1. If Berserker Mode is initiated for more than 24 hours, planet has a much greater chance to go independent, since colonists are unhappy with being overworked.
2. If Berserker Mode is initiated for more than 24 hours, colonists can die in revolts, from exhaustion, etc.
3. Berserker mode has to be initiated manually by visiting the planet.

Your thoughts?

I'd say after you use it production should go down to like 50% or something because of fatigue.

Production is already pretty damned high. We have been looking at ways to limit production. Most planets produce far more than they could ever use or you could ever trade away. So I don't think something like this will be implimented.
