 Post subject: Bounty relating to teams

Can someone explain in simple terms how the bounty works with teams, please.

The team that I am in has been 'picked' on by players much higher then we 3 players at the bottom of the team. So much so that 2 players have pulled out of the team and now have basicly given up playing.
I am still being hit by the big guns even though their individual score is 2.5 times greater than mine, and the team score is nearly 3 times greater than ours???????

Bounty is based on your highest team members score. If you have a team mate that is way up top they should be helping all the smaller players with their sector D. Otherwise the other team mates become fodder for players that can hit him. ( Thats what I would do). If you are all working on your own, I would suggest leaving that team and team with players closer to your score range.

Its no fun to have a high scored team mate unless your SD can match what he can defend against. His defense is what you have to plan for.

This is the way its been for a very very long time. We changed it one time due to how team cash was being shared, but after we fixed that, we changed it back.

Last 2 Main resets, and at least 3 or more before the 3rd reset have been run this way.

Alf, I need to bring you on my team so I can show you how to build as a team an unstopable defense ;)

Tarnus, yes to your offer of help. :)

So in a team all players are subject to being hit by players that are similar to the top team member's score???
If so then can that be shown in the rankings?

And on the up-comming tournament, if you want me to look after things, then that is no problem. :)

If you want to leave your team let me know I a.m sure I can put together a spot for you. Just let me know.

As far as the tourney that would be great. My time has been a little limited as of late. Not even sure I would be even able to play in a tourney.

The real problem is just the energy/sector missile factor. You can get hit by someone alot lower than you if you leave open the opportunity. Doesn't make things any easier when you got different players lurking around your sgs with info acquired from others. Lets not forget that unless you are like 1st-2nd ranked teamwise or going it alone, I don't believe you can make your sd totally untouchable when it comes to players ranked above you that you have came into planet bounty range. You can either put some credits elsewhere ie., hulls, planets, etc.. or you can do what alot of people did which is selfdestruct while still leaving some valuable planets around.

I beg to differ. Ive created unstoppable sector D in the last 2 games, and I did it while not being in first place. You just have to have a different mindset is all.

I'm not sure if you mean that upgrading A teammates planets levels who is lower in score than you makes it harder to attack and run but I didn't think it would, or should, since your both in the same alliance. I already know about how its good to have multiple sd layers and stuff. Wasn't trying to say that defense can't be made near untouchable or raise alarms. I just know its pretty close with concern to the situation I pointed out above. You guys PJ.,Tarnus of course know more about it than most.
