I have installed what is hopefully a cure for the lag cheats many players are using to get more items on their ships than they can carry, putting more planets in a sector than they can normally place, attacking planets/ships in a manner that causes 2/3/4/5/10 times the damage while only using one attack.

This lag cheat fix forces players to WAIT for a page to fully display before they can use the refresh button. If they do try to refresh before the page is loaded they get TWO different warning messages delaying them long enough for the initial page execution to finish even though it is nolonger displaying.

Sorry about that but you have to realise that is the beta server and some things will go wrong there as we try new things. That problem should be fixed.

You can blame this on the morons who think it is cool to cheat. We are installing things to prevent most of the cheats that have been in the game since it started as a BNT/NGS game. Did we want to do this? Not at all because it takes time away from adding really neat new things that further the game.
