Well I figured PJ had posted this allready but I figured I better. Looks like .20 is on schedule for release this weekend if all goes well over the next couple days and we don't break anything.
We will be reseting all of our servers either Friday or Saturday. I know this is a day or so ahead of schedule. But we want to run .20 on our main servers for a day or so before we actually do a release and we are wanting to do a release on Feb 1st.
Note I am frantically re-working the FAQ to give more information on and about different aspects of the game. So anyone currently playing the beta and have any suggestions for the FAQ please send them to me.
Also want to warn everyone. .20 is NOT .141 it will take a bit of getting used to. Some will like it some will hate it. This being said, we have taken some rather bold moves to enhance game play. This didn't make it any easier, it made it harder. .141 had inherint problems with how fast cash was made where once you had cash you could be king as long as you were not hurt by embezzlers. All this changes in .20 No free money. Anything you make (other than the casino) is earned via trading, building and raiding. Don't let it frustrate you. Everyone has been spoiled by the amount of cash in the game. And when there is too much cash and everyone is driving the same ships the game gets boring. You will now get to experience what its like to trade again

well don't count on it till sometime sunday our time we are still finalizing a few things and thought it might be a good idea to rest our servers with it first to get things rolling, just in case we missed any last minute bugs.
