#1

The level of the ship stored on a planet will keep a planet of the same level from going Indie.

You impress the little level 10 planet with your macho 11th level stealth ship! They bow down and worship the ground you walk on!

#2

The cost of buying the same ship when you already own that ship type is the 10 times the amount of ships you own of that type times price.

You want to buy ship model 2 and it costs 100k credits and you do not own that model, then you pay 100,000.

You want to buy ship model 2 and it costs 100k credits and you own 5 of that model then you pay (5 x 10)x100k=5,000,000

================

The multipler could use some tuning, but it would certainly become VERY expensive to keep a bunch of jacked up stealths around keeping planets from going indie

Interesting idea KZ only thing that i can think of is eventually if a planet wont go indy with a ship on it, the reward could outweigh the cost despite a modifier.

A question...
I`ve noticed in the rankings(Profile game) that the last few players have one or two red asteriscs after their names. What`s this mean?

That means you will get a bounty if you attack those players.

That is a very bad idea. I'd like to recommend the ships being booted out into the sector. The planet's chance of going indy might be dependant on the ship stationed there?

If a ship is booted out into RS and not found and destroyed by another player, then how would the owner retrieve the ship?

Well it does not get booted to RS. It gets sent on to your next largest planet. There is a stored ship report that will show you the locations of all your stored ships. Current game I do not have the link in place... as soon as PJ resets it will be in the menus.

Yes it will not leave a trail. Bad enough that you have a chance to lose the ship... I'd hate to see it leave a trail also. Course ya never know ... we may change our minds later... but as of now, no it wont leave a trail.
