Ok, everyone a little lesson on bug reporting.

News Announcement on the front page of the bug report software wrote:
If you are going to make a bug report please include the following...

1. The URL for the page where the error occurred.

2. The sector and planet name if the error occurred when dealing with a planet.

3. The sector name where ANYTHING happened.

4. If a trade route the sector names and planet names involved in the traderoute.

5. The name of the player you were attacking if you were attacking their ship or planet.

6. Your in game player name.

7. What ship you were using when the error happened.

8. If at ALL possible upload a screen shot of the error. There are a number of programs available like Hypersnap that will allow you to take a screen shot of a page in your browser.

9. If you can't take a screen shot, cut and paste the entire error line into the bug report.

10. Give as much information as to what you did before the error occurred. Just saying something like "It looked wrong." or "I attacked so-and-so and something weird happened to me." will not cut it. Be as detailed as possible or we cannot track down the cause of the problem.

Thanks for all of your help. :)

This is a BETA test people and you need to STOP trying to protect your planets and sectors from being found when it comes to reporting a bug. We have had a number of people post bugs today with absolutely NO USEFUL information. Just telling us something isn't working without giving us SECTOR NAMES or PLANET NAMES so we can verify it in the game is completely useless and we just as well delete the bug report. If people do not start posting this information we probably WILL start deleting those bug reports in the future.

This is a beta game so we can squash errors and bugs. If you are not going to give sector and planet names with your bug reports then you shouldn't be playing the beta at all. Please, stop trying to protect yourself by leaving out the sector and planet names in a bug report. It doesn't help us at all when you do.

Please note post the bug report as private and no one else can see it so your sector info is protected.

Thanks!

Could the bug reporting tool be changed so that you can have "sensitive fields" which would NOT be shown to the public (ship details, planets, sector #'s) but the rest of the report would be public so that you can avoid duplicate bugs?

Like I said in the previous post, make it "PRIVATE" and no one else can see your specific report.

I also had someone verify th they can ony see thier own private bugreports so this feature does work. Do not fear posting your info as a private bug report.

Only problem with "Private" bug-reports is that other can't see that the bug has been reported at all.

Thats ok, we can always close out an extra bug explaining that. Better privatee and have peope comfortable posting than not private.
