OK we have started the 2 team draft tournament sign ups. Please not if we think we get enough players and we get another team captain that could lead a team to the top we may make it a 3 team draft.

Draft will begin and if we can get the draft completed in time, we will begin the Draft Tournament on August 15 and Run through Sept 15.

Game settings may change over the next 30 days as we figure out how best to do this tournament.

Some of the rules and changes...

1. Once the game starts no new players will be allowed.

2. There will be only two teams and everyone will be on one of those teams.

3. There are NO BOUNTIES. Any player can attack any other player or planet irrespective of their rank. So be careful of the big guys when they appear.

4. There are 1000 unowned planets. Of those 1000 planets 500 of them are Independant. These independant planets are all based, have unique names, a random number of colonists, random number of fighters, random number of torpedos, random tech levels between 1-20 and 30% credit production. So there are some ripe planets for people to attack and take control of right off the bat.

5. Once your on a team you stay on that team. If you leave the team, your out of the game. If the Team Coordinater Kicks you off his team... your out of the game. So best to keep the coordinater happy.

6. No Multi Accounts. 1 account per player. We find any multi's all your accounts will be kicked out of the game. Which will leave your team shy players.

7. If you are killed in an accident and not cloned. Your out of the game.

Of course it is closed. All you can do it sign up for the game right now. You can create a player but you can't play.

This is when the game actually starts.

Everyone has the same score. No one gets to play yet. Ya gotta be drafted to the team and the draft doesn't start till everyone signs up... sort of like a football draft. So ya better start impressing those 2 guys on top in the big game if you want to be picked early.... they will be watching what everyone does for the next 30 days which may effect how your picked in the draft game Still gotta find a third Captain if we get enough players.

Im not sure if this is already posted somewhere but will everyone start with a pioneer, or will we start with good ships???

Everyone starts with a pioneer. Just like a new game. However, the scheduler has been running for a while so planets have not been traded at all so all the priceing will be high starting out. Also there are Indy planets already in place.

Sounds good i just have one more question since theres no bounties the federation ship has no purpose but what about the Kabal, I cant remeber if they even have a ship though??

Look, just because you think they are your enemies doesn't mean you will not be picked. How do you think they judge as to who to pick? I know they will pick who is going to be the most competitive for them so they know that person will be just as aggressive against the other guy.

BTW Everyone will be picked, it might be a toss up as to who gets who If the numbers goto 60 we may have to pick a third team captain.

I think you should leave it at 2 no the amount of people, I think it would be fun like its the feds versus the kabal in an galatic war across the universe. Just like Star Wars, lol, the Jedi versus the Sith
