Sounds like the databases didn't get made for thise items. Check the admin log to see what errors are showing up and then check to see if there are database tables that match. admin.php is how you get to the admin and you use your create_universe password.

It soiunds like you are missing some files. In otherwords you didn't upload everything. Or not all of the database tables were created.

There should be 51 tables in your database. If there aren't then that is your problem.

What version of the gamne are you trying to install?

It definately looks like your database is not being installed properly.

I think that is your problem. You apparently haven integrated the new version of MySql into your PHP. PHP is probably still using the version that comes with PHP instead of the newer version.

The version number reported is the version of MySql that PHP is currently using.

You will probably have to wait for Tarnus to check in as he knows more about this. :)

Well since I'm a linux guy I'm not gonna be a whole lot of help. There are a few users that have setup under users... Hopefully one of them will step forward and make a suggestion.

Nope, it uses whatever the default mail system is in PHP.

Id like to jump in here on this. I run a Windows server and
my install.php file Also shows its running Mysql 3.23.49 which it says
is too early and needs 4.0.3 or better

I in fact run Mysql 4.0.18 and have No issues with the game even though
it shows only 3.23.49 in the Install.php

I think this is the Built in client version of mysql in php. I looked into
changing this and My Understanding is you have to Recompile Php to
use a Newer version. Since the games works I no longer worry about it.
Sounds to me like your issue is a bad databse creation. Just my 2 cents.
