There really isn't a way to do it. When they die ALL of their planets become independent planets.

If they are ressurrected they will come back with LESS credits and LESS value than they would starting out with a new account. The best thing to do is set the retaindestroyedplayers value to 1 so they are completely purged after 1 day and can start again.

Interesting, I set the prune players to around .0001 and then used admin.php to kill off a test player. They got this message on logging back in:

You have died in a horrible incident.

($l_here} is the blackbox information that was retrieved from your ships wreckage.

Due to the seriousness of this crime and the vicious attack against you, the Federation has graciously decided to provide a free of charge cloning from your remains. Sadly, even in this day and age, new clones can not own property, aside from the basics to make a living. You will be provided with a basic ship and a few credits to get you started. Hopefully your next life will be better.

Is that because the admin tool was used to kill them off? Or is that because of the decimal value?

Its actually due to the newbie nice settings.

He has killed a player before he has used his initial set of turns (the turns people get when they first join the game. The newbie nice feature ressurrects any player who has died before they use all of those initial turns.
