But as I said there wasn't any details. And since I know PJ a little better than you do, I know he tested it and it prob worked for him when he tried. The trading code is extremely complex and he should be congratulated in getting it working. It hurts my head thinking what he had to do to get it working with the number of additional commodities not to mention the fact some take more holds that the others do.

Sounds like we need to bring back the bug reporting links to make solving issues a little easier.

Help us, help you.

I am not sure at what stage the new ports are at???

I have bought Bio Medical and have found a port that is 'buying' them, but no trade will happen.
I am trying to sell energy and bio medical which the port can buy, but on completing the trade I get a screen that states:

Port Trading
Click here to return to the main menu.
and no trade happens. :?

The sector is: Q16M88Q
I have tried from some other sectors as well.
It looks like I am stuck with a hull load of Bio Medical that I now can't remove. :(

cheers

It should work now. When selling it wasn't taking into account the number holds each item used.

Not quite, attached is a trade I was trying to do at port P27O17S

It would only let me buy and not sell.

So far so good. I haven't run into any new problems. Trades are working, trade routes are working. I haven't tried a planet to port yet for new commodities. But all is working great so far!!!

New set of issues:

I have managed to find a planet that will build Bio Weapons.

#1 The first issue is the percentage of colonists I can assign to work can go above 100% as it shows credit percentages at the same. So I have 71% col working on bio weapons, AND 71% working on credits.

#2 Planet transfer screen will not let me transfer new commodity as it doesn't even show on the planet transfer screen.

#3 Planet report that shows all the numbers of commodities does not have an extra column for the new commodity.

I will keep looking, but this is it so far.

but .... actually, I was taking Tarnus' advice (being specific and complimentary)..

So which way do you want it?
