I have tried to post in the viewforum.php?f=50But it reckons I need to be approved. It also nows shows a topic by Tarnus but I can't see that either????? Cheers

There is going to be a 2-3 day delay in releasing the new code. We are making changes to the Max Cloak Artifact. Some players almost have one completed this early in the game and the score boost would be astronomical at this time. So we are changing it to a Device that will add cloak onto the current ships cloak. It will be a 0 Credit device so it doesn't give a credit boost. You will see you have one but you can't sell it once you have it just like a Fuel Scoop. If it wasn't for this we would be releasing sometime tomorrow. Sigh... It's always something.

Much of the changes have been converting everything to use classes so new items can more easily be added and created from New probes, new debris, new dignitaries and spys. So alot is transparent to the user other than the major changes above. The new trading items rock, you can make a chucnk of change, but the artifacts can throw a real interesting spin on everything. With these changes R&B is going to be much easier to implement that it was. Watch the #aatrade twitter channel for updates as things are added.

What sort of changes have been made to planetary growth. Example, last round to have a planet produce 111 billion credits was a level 170 planet. This round it is at 190 to produce the amount of credits. will that change also affect max number of colos and their growth rate?

PJ correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the actual planetary settings were left the same way they were last round.

I was referring to the max credits. Last round I kept most of my planets at 170 with a max credit at about 111 billion. i noticed when adjusting my levels and planning my building strategy that to reach the same max credit number needed a level of 190. That isn't a big concern, i was just curious if the production levels were changed along with it. They weren't so my question has been answered.
I like the artifacts and the other changes, such as the dignitary menu. excellent job to all involved in making those changes.

Man 170 is low, you were losing production as you can get those planets much higher and make much better production. I had planets with 1-3 tril and was making killer credits with less planets.

PJ, we can wait until you sort out the issues with the code, relax and enjoy what is left of your holiday. Tarnus, still can't access or post to the ver .40 section of the forum. MadMArdigan666, you need those planet levels higher to get the best gain. 220+ levels is what works best for me, just make sure you have them protected. Also take in how often you can be online and adjust to suit. cheers

Well, I am back from vacation but the wireless on my laptop died today. Won't have a replacement card until friday or saturday. Sigh... I am working on getting things finished. Just taking longer on the quick fix, oxymoron, for the maxcloak.
