This affects my brother's game at http://www.jpbweb.co.uk/aat/index.php

Not sure what's causing it, the map is all scrambled, not what it is meant to be, a spiral

Any ideas what could cause this?

Also, he can only see the old ship icons, not the new ones

The 3D map will look like a BLOB is he is running an OLD version of PHP. The game detects the version of PHP and if it is too old it will disable the spiral galaxy option and use the OLD galaxy creation routines. That produces an ugly blob for the 3D galaxy.

And if he is seeing the old ship icons then...

1. He didn't upload EVERYTHING new including the updated low bandwidth templates.

2. His browser (usually that piece of crap Internet Explorer) is not updating the cached graphics on his computer and he needs to do a SHIFT-REFRESH to force them to update.

He is using PHP 4.3.5

My site is using PHP 4.3.4, and my game shows the spiral galaxy correctly

Any ideas?

I will check to see if the templates folder is correct for him asap

Afraid I don't have any ideas unless he set the spiral galaxy to off in the config.
