If you die and get returned to sector 1 and don't immediately get a ship out of storage (if you have one in storage) you WILL be forced out of sector 1. If you don't have any ships in storage you are safe and can stay there.

And you can get back to sector 1. If they have upgraded to 0.11 code there is a Local Map that will allow you to plot the fastest realspace route back to sector 1.

If not then you will have to do some random sector jump checks using the ? in the realspace box to try and find a faster way back. Or find another upgrade port somewhere along the way back.

You use a percentage of the torps on your ship based upon the level factor.


So, no you don't necessarily use all of your torps.
