I noticed in the AAT about page, it mentioned nova game systems, but googling this shows up nothing but AAT about pages.

Anyone have any info/history on it, and other BNT similar games?

Yeah, the about page needs a revamp. :)

AAT forked from The Kabal Invasion, and at the time of the fork, the phrasing we had used for the title was "Nova Gaming System: The Kabal Invasion".

The idea was that NGS was going to be an "API Layer", and games would install into it. By doing the same for TKI, and BNT, it would make it possible to have multi-game seamless logins.

Things change of course, and NGS is a good example of that. Over time it became clear that the "API Layer" was going to useful for far more than just games. As a result, NGS essentially was scrapped, and the idea of a php-driven web api turned into JOMPT - "Just One More PHP Toolkit".

As a result, the TKI project updated all our commentary, links, pages, forums, and so on to reflect the removal of NGS as being part of the process.

AAT hasn't had a release since then, so they haven't updated those references. (TKI hasn't either, so our about page is similarly outdated)

Unfortunately, more than a few people remember the fond old days of NGS:TKI, and still refer to it as NGS, when NGS is in fact dead.

So, wherever you see NGS, think TKI. Thats what is meant. :)
