Well Ive noticed several bugs in the current beta. There are three big ones that i am posting here together because I think they are all being caused by the same thing
So, my username is.
Ra
Using Alien Assualt Traders Default Dropdown

First there is a weird problem that shows numbers that would be used when calculating your score, this is shown when you log off, when you attack a ship, or when you attack a planet.

Bug is shown below:
Score1 = 13573504.00
Score2 = 109330171.00
Score3 = 12151746
Score4 = 0
Score5 = 0
Score6 = 0
Score7 =
Score8 =
Score9 = 1000
Score10 =
Score11 = 0
Score12 =
Score final = 135056421
Score final = 11621

Next whenever you upgrade your ship your score goes down, you start with a high score, upgrade your ship and it decreases extremely. I am not sure what the starting score was but I upgraded my ship using all but 10mn credits and my score dropped down to around 4000.

Another bug occurred today when I attacked a planet Of Lt. Gordan Walis, it states in the news I attacked and defeated it, yet it did not blow up because my score was low, nor did I keep the planet myself. I checked logs and it did not say a spy retoook the planet in either of our logs, the logs only show a capture.

Later I attacked Cobra while having a low score and recieved a bounty. Even though he was well in front of me. This possibly has something to do with the score problem as I previously stated.

After finding some traderoutes and increasing my score to 80k I bought a endevour and upgraded it as much as I could only to see my score drop down to 11k so this is just another example of the score problem.

So it looks like 3 bugs, score droping alot, bounty problem, attacking a planet problem, but in my opinion the problem in scoring could be the factor causing all three. IF you need some mroe info just ask and i will try to accomadate you.

If you buy/upgrade a ship, your score drops because you have used credits, but now your ship is 2nd hand, IE: if you traded it you would not get the value that you spent on it, but a used value. I read this in one of the early bits about the new code.

I think that makes sense. :D

As for the rest????????

I dont know Alf, seems a little much, I have 2 ships a columbus and an endeavour ive used about 10bn credits to upgrade them and have 11,000 points, I think its fine that you lose some of your score when buying a ship, this has always been the case, but I am losing 90% of my score when I do this, makes it seem very wrong.

Yeah this is actually some of the things we have discussed from the last beta. The Text you are seing is a scoring window. This helps track the scoring issues. Hopefully we can track it down.

This is only speculation but its almost like the score algorithm isnt including tech levels. That it is only counting half the base cost of the ship and money on hand. That is the only logical thing I see, cause a score of 11k would be about equal to having around 550mn credits, which is what I have.

My first reaction was WOOOHOOO! I didn't totally screw up! But then second thought was I better report this just in case :P

Beta test game; nick: PhirePhly

While building a new plant I overestimated turns verses max col held on the planet and in theory overfilled. But instead of the trade wasting turns or stopping, it filled the col to my hull. My hull actually only holds 4,413,289.
Planet Ship
Ore 0 0
Organics 0 0
Goods 4,143,289 0
Energy 1,750,156,811 2,365,789
Colonists 1,000,000,000 1,084,074,367
Fighters 0 0
Torpedoes 0 0
Credits 10,000,000 Max 10,000,000 224,078,534,428
Spies 10 11
Dignitaries 0 0

If this is not a bug then WoOOHoOOO!

dang! lol

well I guess the good thing for PJ is that it was a one time hull expansion. Upon dumping the colonist after the planet was based, it returned to picking up only the true lvl amt so it is just in the multi-trade issue.
