I can understand the impact on hull size, the bigger the more you can carry, the more you trade, the more $ you get. What does power do and how does it impact the trader ships? |

Well it impacts traders if they want to trade energy. Power is the amount of energy you can carry. Energy capacity at power level x is 5 * hull capacity at level x (or fighters or torps for that matter) |
