Well, i prefer the Old Style game with only 15 levels to choose instead of 150 in the beginning.

But the Debris flying around in my universe is set to the normal settings like "Level All 10" or even "Level 10".
You know what 10 Levels in the OldStyle mean. They make you undefeatable, its like a cheat.

I disabled them for now, but maybe you could include a bug fix (only level 1 level or so..)

There are reasons why we changed it. The new level system enables incremental upgrades and as a player grows no one will know their true size. In a battle even a small incremental level may be the difference in a win. I doubt you will see us go back to the old system and will probably take away any ability in the future to change the levels.

As to how to fix your debris, PJ may have to check it but you can disable the level_all10 type in the admin menu. This may or not fix your issue.

During the setup of the game you can turn on and off the different types of debris. There are both low level (just 1 level upgrade) and high level (up to 10 level upgrades). Or you can go to the Admin area after the game has been setup and disable the high level debris in the Edit Debris area. Just disable the Level10 and LevelAll10 debris. If there are some already created they will still stay in the game until someone clicks on them. But once disabled no further level 10 debris will be created.

You can empty the debris table in the database and the game will slowly fill it back up again over time without any of the level10 debris.

Does the new level system have to be setup before completing create universe ? You can't change it after you have set the game up can you ? I didn't even know we had a choice. Thought it would have to wait until a new setup package was available at sourceforge.

There are two default setup's in the download. When you create the universe you select the setup type you want to use on the same page you set the number of sectors.
