We thought of a game tournament concept and wanted to know how many might be interested. It's called a 2 Team Draft tournament. We will take Moonraker and Thunderball and spit them up as team captains. They will flip a coin and start picking who they want on thier team.

Once the game starts it will run for 30 Days. NO BOUNTIES. No one not registered at the start of the game can be added after it starts. Game will be turned up a notch to make it run VERY fast. Highest team score at the game ending is the winning team. Course there are no prizes other than the satisfaction of being on the winning team and surviving the 30 days of play

TO do it we will need everyone that wants to play to sign up And tell who they are in past games and who they are in current games so the two captains will be able to pick from a big pool of players. This game probably will not start till Sept. As we will need to get as many people to play as we can so we can get the draft organized. And figure out how big of a universe we want to build.

Well, the Tourney Server is up and running.

You can sign-up as a new player but you can't play yet. So head on over and sign-up in the game so everyone knows who is going to be playing.

Some of the rules and changes...

1. Once the game starts no new players will be allowed.

2. There will be only two teams and everyone will be on one of those teams.

3. There are NO BOUNTIES. Any player can attack any other player or planet irrespective of their rank. So be careful of the big guys when they appear.

4. There are 1000 unowned planets. Of those 1000 planets 500 of them are Independant. These independant planets are all based, have unique names, a random number of colonists, random number of fighters, random number of torpedos, random tech levels between 1-20 and 30% credit production. So there are some ripe planets for people to attack and take control of right off the bat.

Be sure to check the settings on the game for everything else.

It will be running the same code as the beta.
