On administrative page i select Configuration settings->newbie nice and set the "newbie_nice" variable to "NO". And it no change the game.

Actually you do set it to either YES or NO.

All the newbie nice does is resurrect a player if they die without an escape pod before they use the initial number of turns a new player starts with.

If a new player starts with 4,000 turns and they die without an escape pod before using those 4,000 turns they will be resurrected with a pioneer but they will have lost any planets. If they die without an escape pod after those 4,000 turns are used then they will have to wait for their player to be purged from the game (usually 3 days unless the admin has that disabled) before they can log back in.

Newbi Nice in AATrade doesn't work the same way it does in BNT.
